Nutrition test – Is there a test to determine if ones body is lacking in any vitamins or minerals?

My doctor says most people are deficient in magnesium. Is there a certain test to ask for that will determine such deficiencies? And if so, why isnt such a test routine for general health maintenance?

Yes. There are many effective tests for nutrition. The American Medical Association does not require in depth nutritional study for Medical Doctors. This is why your doctor most likely does not test or recommend nutritional therapies. Hair Mineral Analysis is an effective way of accessing mineral and toxin present in the body. You can request testing kits and send in a hair sample easily and inexpensively. Quantum Reflex Analysis is also a great evaluation for personalized nutrition. Nutrition is very important. I would always encourage friends and family to assess nutrition and if needed detoxification before any other health measures.
